the.flyingSAM is the Stage name of Samuel Schultz, an emerging independent songwriter and producer based in Stuttgart, Germany. Known for his emotionally rich and cinematic pop sound, Sam blends dreamy piano parts, orchestral textures, and heartfelt songwriting to create a deeply immersive and introspective listening experience.

Collaborating with guest vocalists, the.flyingSAM crafts songs that explore vulnerability, resilience, and emotional depth—melodies and atmospheres that linger long after the final note.

In April 2025, the EP Stronger than you know was released — a project featuring guest appearances by Los Angeles-based Ukrainian pop/soul singer Olya Gram and the Nigerian Heartbeat Gospel Choir led by Tayo Olawepo. The EP blends warm arrangements with powerful vocal performances, creating a sound that gets under your skin and resonates long after the music ends.
